In May 1996, the company signed a Joint Venture agreement with Akebono Brake Industry Co.Ltd, Japan which changed its status into a Joint Venture Company. Located in the area of 40,625 m2, the company now has 833 employees.

PT.Tri Dharma Wisesa is a manufacturer of Brake System, namely Drum Brakes and Disc Brakes. Product Capacity in 2 shifts for automobile is 450,000 unit per year, while for motorcycle is 360,000 unit per year. The products which are manufactured through Machining Process include : Backing Plate, Body Caliper, Support Caliper, Sleeve, Guide Pin, Shoe Lining, and Disc Pad.
